Here at Performers Academy we take pride in offering a diverse range of courses, including RAD Ballet, IDTA Tap, Commercial Modern and Musical Theatre. We are dedicated in nurturing each student's unique abilities and helping them flourish whether it is professional or just for fun. We always end each term with an end of term presentation so you can see what we have been up to and the progression made by the students.
About our Founder
Cathy Engelbrecht (RAD RTS. IDTA)
Cathy graduated from the prestigious Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Cathy then went on to perform across the UK and Europe in various stage and television productions and working with Disneyland Paris, Arlene Phillips and Chris Tarrant.
Cathy is registered with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). She is a well-regarded mentor for the Royal Academy of Dance, where she mentors and trains new teachers.
